Partners in Literacy Ministry (PALM) is a Non Governmental Organization registered in Kenya. The Organisation has headquarters are in Westlands, Nairobi, and its scope of operations is East and Central Africa.

Partners in Literacy Ministry (PALM) is a NGO registered in Kenya, founded in 1978. We create adult literacy teaching materials and programs.
Teacher’s Workshops, Primer Construction Workshops, Capacity Building and we partner with other organizations to provide Literacy Assessments.
PALM has developed materials for teaching basic literacy in many languages in East and central Africa. In Kenya we have materials in twelve languages and have a similar number in Tanzania. Other countries where our materials are being used are Rwanda, Burundi, DRC and South Sudan.

If you are starting a literacy program, call us for advice or design of your program. We also design literacy programs that have an evangelist approach for churches. We have worked with Bible Societies in many nations in Africa. This is a 3 day or five day workshop that is meant for literacy program coordinators. Topics include: the literacy cycle, workshop organization, learner recruitment, and record keeping among others. This workshop will suit those who intending to be trainers or coordinators of literacy programs.
